Integrations

Connect third-party tools to enhance your workflow

Monocle integrates with project management and source control tools so you can create issues, link repositories, and keep everything in sync without leaving your dashboard.

To connect an integration, go to Organization Settings > Integrations and click Connect next to the provider you want.

Creating Issues from Exceptions

Once an integration is connected, you can create external issues from any Monocle issue:

  1. Open an issue in Monocle.
  2. Create a new issue in Linear or GitHub, or link an existing one by searching.
  3. The external issue is pre-filled with the exception details, application name, and environment.

Monocle also creates a back-link on the external issue pointing to the Monocle dashboard.

Two-Way Status Sync

Monocle receives webhooks from both Linear and GitHub. When a linked external issue is completed or closed, the corresponding Monocle issue is automatically marked as Resolved.

Slack, Discord, and webhooks

Slack, Discord, and your own webhooks receive uptime, endpoint, and exception alerts. On the same Integrations page, admins connect Slack workspaces and Discord servers under Slack and Discord, and add endpoints under Webhooks. See the Slack and Discord apps, Notification channels, and Webhook channels for the signed JSON events.
