The Emails page lists the emails sent by your application, with their delivery status and how long each send took.
What you see
- Emails Sent, Failed, Avg Send Time, and the number of Transports used
- Email Volume, split between sent and failed emails
- Send Time over time
- The list of emails with their subject, recipients, transport, and duration. Click a row to open the trace that sent it.
Setup
Emails sent with @adonisjs/mail are traced automatically by the AdonisJS agent. See Mail, Queue & CLI.
Only emails sent directly are listed. Emails queued with sendLater are not shown on this page.
Conventions
Email spans use Monocle's email.* attributes (email.system, email.operation, email.message.subject…), as OpenTelemetry has no convention for emails yet. See Semantic conventions.
